Hello all…..did the holidays meet all. your expectations? Best to not have any I have observed over the years. Showering little ones with toys is lots of fun, and have you watched carefully the human condition that inflicts us all? Children gleefully unwrap their presents until they are finished and they look around to see if they got it all and….they move on to whatever is next. Anticipation is wonderful, and the final event is well..over again for another year. We dream of the warm feelings and exchange of gifts believing it will last more than a minute. Proper thanks are received and food eaten and children grumpy and tired from the excitement are ready for bed as we are all exhausted from the preparations. It all happens so fast and with a blur that we only have the aftermath to re-examine. Too much drinking, and sometimes emotional not in a good way as we interact with family members we don’t see through the year. The roller coaster effect…..joy and happiness, then sadness and depression. A new year dawns and resolutions are made once again. Did this describe your experience?
